We are pleased to announce the list of cashless payment brands available for use within the Expo 2025 venue.
A total of 70 brands supporting various cashless payment methods—including credit cards, electronic money, and QR code payments—will be accepted.
Additionally, four widely used prepaid cards in Japan—Suica, ICOCA (transportation IC cards), Rakuten Edy, WAON, and nanaco—can be used at the venue.
More than 60 dedicated top-up machines will also be installed, allowing visitors to charge these prepaid cards with cash.
This setup enables even those without smartphones to easily enjoy cashless payments.
Please note that Edy prepaid cards are available for purchase at the following areas within the venue; however, you cannot purchase a large number of cards at one time. We strongly recommend that you prepare your card in advance outside the venue before your visit.
〇 Prepaid Card Sales at the Venue

・ATM and charging machine area in the East Gate Marketplace
・Money Plaza in the West Gate Marketplace
Please note that some stores at the venue—such as the official pavilions of the United States, Republic of Uzbekistan, United Kingdom, Commonwealth of Australia, Republic of Austria, Canada, State of Kuwait, Swiss Confederation, Czech Republic, Federal Republic of Germany, Kingdom of Bahrain, French Republic, Kingdom of Belgium, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, as well as vendors like Kura Sushi and 7-Eleven—may use different cashless payment brands than those managed by the Expo Association.
We recommend checking the accepted payment methods at each store before making a purchase.
