Firstly, in the section on the personal information that the Association acquires, we have carefully examined how personal information is handled within the Association, information that is not intended to be acquired has been deleted, and the information that is intended to be acquired has been reorganised.
Specifically, we have deleted biometric information such as "fingerprints," social media information such as "passwords," and information such as "marital status," "children, hobbies, and preferences," as we do not plan to acquire such information. Names and email addresses will be collected as part of social media account information.
In addition, the medical information we are expecting to obtain is not "whether or not a person has been certified as a disabled person," but rather "information regarding whether or not a person has a disability," as it may be necessary to provide special consideration for rescue activities, etc., and so we have made some revisions to this section.
Secondly, in the section on the provision of personal information to third parties, the description has been made clearer and the third parties to whom provision is not intended have been deleted.
Specifically, 2.1 (1) has been clarified to stipulate when the Association provides personal information to third parties. In addition, 2.2 (2) clarified the examples of third parties that are assumed to be the recipients of the information.
In addition, the following items have been deleted from the section on "provision of personal information to third parties":
- Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) *For domestic and overseas users
- Social media operators, advertising-related companies, advertising distribution companies, data analysis companies, DMP operators, media companies, and other companies with which the Association has business partnerships.
