The personal information obtained by the Association is required for the purpose of smooth operation of the Expo, admission to the Expo, and participation in events and pavilions. The specific purposes of use for each individual item are as follows:
- Name, email address, etc. (information obtained when registering for an Expo ID).

- Passport number
This information will be used for identification purposes when issuing admission passes to volunteers and others. This information will not be obtained during the registration of Expo IDs for general visitors.
-Biometric information (facial image)
Visitors may be asked to register their face image for the purpose of identification by facial recognition when obtaining a season pass or summer pass. The information may also be obtained through cameras installed at the Expo site for security purposes.
- Other information.
This information is not required when registering for an Expo ID, but will be obtained separately as required.
