You do not need to book in advance. Advance bookings are recommended for those who want to ensure that they can see certain pavilions and events, but advance bookings account for only a proportion of the total, and with the exception of certain events, there are sufficient same-day slots available for many pavilions and events. Visitors without advance bookings can still register (reserve) to visit the pavilions after they arrive and will be assisted with the registration process at the information points on site. There are also a number of pavilions and events that can be entered without a reservation.
