As the Expo will be held on Yumeshima, an artificial island, there are two basic access options: the Osaka Metro Chuo Line and by bus from major railway stations.
The Osaka Metro Chuo Line can be accessed via the newly built Yumeshima Station.
Buses from major railway stations (station shuttle buses) will operate from 10 locations in Osaka City and elsewhere.
Private cars are not allowed to drive directly to the Expo site on Yumeshima Island. If you are coming by private car, please park at the parking areas in Maishima, Amagasaki, or Sakai and transfer to a bus.
Other services such as direct airport buses, medium- and long-distance direct buses and ships are also being considered and planned by the operators.
