１．New Hardware Measures in Green World Construction Zone:
① The following measures were implemented in the east and west restrooms
・Install seals around toilet bowls and piping to fill gaps and prevent gas from entering from underground pits.
・Install mechanical ventilation equipment to force ventilation of gas that has entered the underground pit and ceiling.
・Install gas detectors in the basement pit, room, and ceiling to measure the status of gas accumulation.
For other buildings, based on the above, depending on the results of future concentration measurements, determine the ventilation capacity, location and quantity of detectors, and other countermeasures to be taken.
②Measures to be taken at outdoor underground structures
・Measures to be taken at outdoor underground structures: - Drainage of rainwater, perforated manhole covers for electrical equipment, etc., and venting of gas trapped in these structures.
In the Pavilion World construction area, gas concentration measurements will be conducted intensively in the area above the subway construction where low-concentration gas was detected and in the area adjacent to the Green World construction area, and the same measures will be implemented based on the results of these measurements.
2. Soft measures in Green World and Pavilion World construction zones
・The Association will continuously measure gas concentrations and ventilate areas where gas is detected.
・The Association is considering daily notification of measured values on its website. Consideration will also be given to ensure the content of the announcements are easy for visitors to understand. (measurement results will be periodically announced during the construction period as well).
