You can enjoy the Expo more by registering your Expo ID. On the other hand, there are people who for various reasons are unable to register themselves.
Proxy registration is a function that allows these people to register their Expo ID instead. (The person with the Expo ID can register via the ‘Proxy Registration’ link in the Expo ID menu.)
<Examples of proxy registration.
The Expo ID can be registered on behalf of children under 16 years of age who are unable to manage their own personal data due to GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation) restrictions.
The Expo ID of a child under 16 years of age who is unable to manage his/her own personal data due to restrictions in the GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation) can be managed by a parent or guardian.
Substitute registration for those who do not have a smartphone with biometrics: a family member can register the Expo ID of a person who does not have a smartphone with biometrics on their behalf.
Substitute registration for a person who is not familiar with smartphone operation: a family member can register the Expo ID of a person who is not familiar with smartphone operation on behalf of the person.
The person who has registered as a proxy (proxy registrant) manages the Expo ID registration information and other information of the person who has been registered as a proxy (proxy registration target).
*The person registered as a proxy (proxy registrant) does not need to set up biometric authentication. They can log in using only their Expo ID and password. However, some functions such as electronic ticket purchase cannot be used.
